Jordan Love’s Late INT Roasted by NFL Fans as Packers Lose to 49ers in Playoffs

Jordan Love #10 of the Green Bay Packers looks to pass during the first quarter against the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional Playoffs at Levi’s Stadium on January 20, 2024 in Santa Clara, California.

Jordan Love’s game-sealing interception prevented a late comeback by the Green Bay Packers, as the team lost to the San Francisco 49ers by the final score of 24-21.

The Packers are now eliminated from the playoffs. They delivered a valiant effort against the NFC’s No. 1 seed, holding onto a 21-14 lead entering the fourth quarter. However, a missed field goal by rookie kicker Anders Carlson combined with 10 unanswered points by the 49ers gave San Francisco a late advantage.

With a chance to potentially tie the game or take the lead on the team’s final drive, Love fired a deep pass across his body that was picked off by linebacker Dre Greenlaw to end the Packers’ hopes of a comeback.

The 25-year-old signal caller completed 61.8 percent of his passes for 194 yards to go along with two touchdowns, although he threw two interceptions as well. NFL fans were confused by his decision-making on Green Bay’s last possession of the game.
