The Green Bay Packers are clearly making numerous changes on the defensive side of the ball.  Joe Barry (defensive coordinator), Jerry Montgomery (defensive line coach), and Greg Williams (passing game coordinator) all won’t return to the Packers next season.

Now reports have surfaced that yet another defensive coach won’t return to the team next year.

The Packers have had Olivadotti as their linebackers coach since 2019. He will now join Mike Macdonald’s staff in Seattle in the same position. Between 2011 and 2013, they coached together at Georgia under Mark Richt.

Olivadotti has been an assistant coach for Washington and Green Bay for the last two decades, spending the majority of that time in Washington. The Redskins hired him as a defensive backs coach in 2000, then as a special teams coach in 2006 before hiring him as a linebackers coach in 2007.

The Packers will now be on the hunt for a new coach to oversee Quay Walker’s development as well as utilizing De’Vondre Campbell (if he returns) in the most effective ways possible.
