RAYE tries nailing a bullseye as she goes head-to-head in a game of darts with sport sensation Luke Littler on The Jonathan Ross Show

And now RAYE is set to try her hand at landing a bullseye as she takes on teen sports sensation Luke Littler at a game of darts on The Jonathan Ross Show which is set to air on Saturday.

The singer, 26, looked every inch the amateur darts player as she hilariously squeezed one eye in a bid to land

As one of the biggest names of the 2024 Worlds Dart Championship, Luke, 17, did his best to give the Prada singer a brief rundown on delivering the perfect throw.

Dressed to impress, the songstress wore a stunning black floor-length dress which featured an elegant neckline and thick straps.

She exuded her usual Hollywood glamour look as she wore her thick black tresses in a side-parted bob.

And while RAYE went the extra mile for the show, Luke shocked the audience revealed that he doesn’t prepare or even practice darts.

When asked about honing his craft, he revealed: ‘I don’t really practise’ and that to stay at world champion level, he does ‘None’.

In his spare time, Luke revealed: ‘I’m just a young 17-year-old that plays Xbox with his friends, that’s it.’

On his first time playing darts, he explained: ‘I think I was about 18 months in a nappy with a magnetic board’

Retelling the story of the fateful day he got his first ever darts board, he added: ‘I don’t remember it, but my dad said we were in the pound shop, and I was in the trolley and I just picked a magnetic dart board out, and I still think to this day, imagine if I hadn’t picked up that dart board.’

Following RAYE’s practice with Luke The Nuke, RAYE revealed on the show that he grandmother Agatha, 74, who joined her on stage at the BRITs as she collected her Album Of The Year award is her biggest inspiration.

The singer was ‘raised’ by her grandmother after she moved over from Ghana to look after her while her parents worked full time job.

Raye said: ‘I was ugly crying! That woman is just, I couldn’t owe her more, she sacrificed everything for me so to be able to bring her up on stage at that moment she knew what my dreams meant to me too…I’ll never forget that moment.’

The star went on to say she was very ‘overwhelmed’ after her wins and celebrated by partying until 6am.

She said: ‘To be honest I was so overwhelmed that I was ready to jump straight into bed, so it was either go straight to bed or go hard, do you know what I mean? So we went with that option.

Following her big night at the BRITs, it was revealed that Raye had been shortlisted in Six categories at The Global Awards.

She has been nominated for Best Song, Best Female, Best British Act, Best Hip Hop and R&B, Best Fans and Best Pop.

This year’s BRITs saw Raye break the record for the most BRITs won at a single ceremony, which stood at four, held by Blur (1995), Adele (2016) and Harry Styles (2023).

The singer-songwriter was left in floods of tears as she scooped Song of the Year, Album Of The Year, Artist Of The Year, Songwriter of the Year, Best R&B Act and Best New Artist.
