“If LeBron is your best player, I’m looking to trade Anthony Davis” – Jamal Crawford thinks AD has to be the #1 guy for the Lakers

Crawford feels the Lakers could get a good haul of players to back Bron if Davis is traded.

The Los Angeles Lakers continue their bumpy ride with critics divided on their postseason chances. They continue to rely heavily on an aging LeBron James as other players on the roster try to find their form.

The Purple and Gold are currently in the 9th spot of the Western Conference standings with a 41-32 win-loss record. Hence, the Lakers will have to take the long road to the playoffs.

Regardless of what happens this season for L.A., they need to figure out who their #1 star is. At 39 years old, James may be the top dog now, but where does this leave other budding stars such as Anthony Davis?

Should the Lakers trade AD?

A Davis trade is something that has been suggested for quite some time now. Although ‘The Brow’ is seen as the one to succeed James, only a few are confident that the 9-time All-Star can do so.

With LeBron still around, the Lakers must figure out who their best player is. In the opinion of former NBA player Jamal Crawford, L.A. could be better off trading the top pick of the 2012 NBA Draft.
