Bubba Watson mentioned the possibility of being ‘asked leave’ LIV Golf after struggling to find his usual form on the PGA Tour

When Bubba Watson made the switch from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf, he knew it would generate controversy. However, there were several compelling reasons, aside from the financial aspect, that made it an obvious choice for him.

Since joining LIV in 2022, the 30-year-old golfer has not only enhanced his legacy but also benefited from his YouTube channel. Interestingly, it’s possible that his channel wouldn’t exist if he hadn’t joined LIV.

DeChambeau believes that the transition to the 54-hole format has reignited his passion for the game and revitalized his career. It has allowed him to develop new strategies for growing the sport.

According to DeChambeau, simplifying things can often lead to significant growth. He compares it to trimming trees to encourage more growth. During an interview with Fox News Digital at Maridoe Golf Club, where LIV Golf’s Team Championship took place, DeChambeau explained his perspective.

For him, the move to LIV provided numerous opportunities to explore different aspects such as business and team ownership. This allows him to not only focus on playing great golf and winning major championships but also on growing the sport and the individuals involved. While it has taken some time, he is pleased with the momentum and direction they are heading in. DeChambeau emphasizes the importance of patience in achieving success.

Despite joining LIV, DeChambeau has managed to perform well in major championships. He recently won the U.S. Open, finished second in the PGA Championship, and achieved three other top-eight finishes, including a T6 at Augusta earlier this year
