During the recent Hurricane Helene that struck Florida, professional golfer John Daly shared on his Instagram story that he had lost his home. The post, shared last week, included a screenshot of weather radar and a house emoji near the Tampa area.
Daly reassured his fans that he and his family were safe. He expressed his gratitude to everyone who had reached out to him during this difficult time.

“For everyone that has reached out, my family are all safe, but all our homes are not as water is pouring out of every crevice. Total loss and devastation after living here all my life! I still cannot imagine ALL we have lost, but we are SAFE, and all can be replaced! Praise God!” Daly wrote.
Daly resides in Clearwater Bridge, just outside the Tampa area. The storm, with winds reaching speeds of 140 mph (225 kmph), hit on the southeastern coast of the United States.

The southeastern coast experienced one of the deadliest hurricanes, as, according to the reports, around 125 people have lost their lives. The water levels in the region were above 15 ft, according to preliminary information.

John Daly recently appeared at the college football game between Georgia and Alabama along with US presidential candidate Donald Trump. A prominent golf fan account posted an image of the duo on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption,
Trump is an avid golfer who tries to play golf regularly. He shares a special bond with Daly, and they have been supportive of each other for a long time. In July, the 58-year-old golfer stood in solidarity with Trump following an assassination attempt on the latter. Reacting to this incident, Daly wrote,
