Paige Spiranac played golf at the junior, collegiate, and amateur levels between 2005 and 2015. In December 2015, she turned professional and began playing on the Arizona-based Cactus Tour.
Six months later, in May 2016, Spiranac won her first professional tournament at the Orange Tree Golf Resort in Phoenix. There, she defeated the world’s top-ranked amateur golfer at the time, Hannah O’Sullivan, in a playoff.Encouraged by this and other successes, Spiranac attempted to qualify for the LPGA Tour through Qualifying School, held at the Dinah Shore Course in Mission Hills.
