Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy have sparked discontent among fans due to a noticeable comparison drawn between their performances in the LIV Golf event

Social media users are expressing outrage over the ticket prices for Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TGL golf league, which announced its launch for January 7 and outlined a schedule featuring 15 regular season game-weeks, semi-finals, and a finale.

Fans will get the chance to attend each week of the action based out of the SoFi Center in Palm Beach, but it will cost them a pretty penny, with general admission tickets priced at $160.

As a result, the pricing did not go down well with most. Taking issue on social media, one fan tweeted: “What are we doing charging anything over $40? Nobody is asking for this let alone for $160.. I’d rather go play real golf,” whilst a second added: “They’re charging to watch SIM golf?”
