The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) confirmed late Tuesday that it has suspended the 31-year-old reigning world champion pending a full inquiry. While specific matches have not been officially named, sources close to the investigation indicate the allegations center on suspicious betting patterns linked to several PDC events over the past 18 months.
Humphries, who has not publicly commented on the specific charges, released a brief statement through his management: “I am aware of the serious nature of these allegations. I intend to cooperate fully with the investigation and am confident my name will be cleared.”
