Joy As Nelly Korda shares a fan moment that still “kills” her, reacts to video of the rare incident from 2022

Nelly Korda reminisced about a fan moment that took place during the final round at the 2022 Evian Championship when a fan picked her approach shot on hole six. The ball had landed on the spectator’s walking path amid the trees, and the spectator picked it up casually.

The fan raised the ball with exaltation, and following that walked toward an official, prompting Commentator Grant Boone to remark:

“It’s not a souvenir!…she’s in big trouble now,” he said.

A video of this moment resurfaced as Golf on CBS posted it on their Instagram handle on October 2.

Shortly after, Nelly Korda reshared that Instagram post as her story and wrote:

“Still kills me.”
