“Keegan Bradley Leaps For Joy As He Puts On An Exquisite Performance At the BMW Cup And the Result Were Lucid

Bradley, the newly appointed U.S. Ryder Cup captain, just pulled off a remarkable feat by winning a PGA Tour event, a first for a captain in nine years! As if that wasn’t impressive enough, he is also an assistant captain for the upcoming Presidents Cup. His victory in the BMW Championship has elevated him to the 10th spot in the Presidents Cup standings, making him a strong contender for one of the captain’s picks. Bradley is open to playing any role the team wants him to, and he is proud to be considered for the prestigious tournament. His exceptional performance in the challenging conditions, with the high altitude and unpredictable wind, truly solidified his victory. While Bradley had some assistance from Scott, who unfortunately faltered on the back nine, it was Bradley’s incredible approach shots that ultimately secured his win. With a fantastic 5-iron shot that landed just 16 feet away from the pin, Bradley effectively sealed his victory.

With a smooth two-putt for birdie and a comfortable two-shot lead, he gave himself a nice cushion and some time to bask in the glory of the crowd’s “U-S-A! U-S-A!” chants.

Scott’s last chance to catch up vanished on the 15th hole. Bradley found himself in a deep bunker, way off from the pin, about 25 feet away. Meanwhile, Scott was sitting pretty in the fairway only 101 yards from the pin. But his wedge shot sailed right over the green and into the deep rough. In the end, they both ended up with matching bogeys.

But hey, Scott can find some consolation in the fact that he made it into the top 30 who qualify for East Lake. Not too shabby!

And let’s not forget about Justin Thomas, who managed to snag a spot in the Tour Championship at East Lake, even though he was already chilling at home in Florida, just like Bradley was doing last week. Talk about some nail-biting action!

. Harman needed a simple par on the last hole to stay in the top 30, but instead, he made a double bogey. Ouch!

Noren, who has never made it to East Lake before, was looking like a sure bet to finish in the top 30. He sank a fantastic 25-foot par putt on the 13th hole and followed it up with a birdie on the 14th. But alas, he stumbled with three straight bogeys to finish his round, with the most damaging one on the supposedly easy par-5 17th hole at Castle Pines. He had to lay up from a drive in the rough and ended up in a bunker with his wedge shot. Talk about a tough break. He shot a disappointing 75.

As for Bradley, he walked away with a cool $4 million for his second BMW Championship title. Quite the achievement!

Joining Bradley and Scott in the top 30 for the Tour Championship are Tommy Fleetwood and Chris Kirk, both shooting a solid 69. They managed to bump out Harman, Jason Day, Davis Thompson, and Denny McCarthy. Tough luck for those guys!

So there you have it, folks, a rollercoaster ride of golfing action with a side of drama and a sprinkle of humor. Can’t wait to see what the Tour Championship has in store for us!
