Darts legend Dennis Priestley believes Luke Littler has made one of his “biggest mistakes” after moving into a new luxury home.
Littler, 17, stunned the world by reaching the World Darts Championship final in January and quickly established himself at the top of the sport. Less than six months after his standout performances at Alexandra Palace, ‘The Nuke’ was crowned Premier League champion.
The young star’s rapid ascent has seen him collect substantial prize money, ranking him 18th on the PDC’s order of merit. This has enabled him and his family to upgrade from their two-bedroom house to a Warrington mansion, located on a street locally known as ‘Millionaire’s Row’ – but Priestley has questioned Littler’s decision to cough up £6,000 per month in rent.
According to reports, he’s only renting. If he’s only renting it’s one of the biggest mistakes he’s made and his advisors have made,” Priestley told OLBG. “Why rent when you should be putting your money into bricks and water and it being your own house, not paying £6,000 per month to rent a mansion
